Unlocking Research Office

The initial phase of the Terminus Easter Egg Main Quest involves constructing the DRI-11 Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon, a process that is fairly extensive. However, if you happen to obtain the Beamsmasher randomly from the Mystery Box, you can bypass the following 17 steps and proceed directly to the Releasing Nathan section.

1. Restore Facility Power: To restore the facility's power, activate the three AMP Generators located in the Guard Station, Living Quarters, and Bio Lab. Each generator requires protection for 30 seconds during the power-up process. If you fail to defend the generator, you'll need to wait until the next round for it to cool down before attempting again. 2. Resurface the Inclined Lift: Once the AMP generator in the bio lab is successfully activated, dive toward the submerged inclined lift and elevate it. Raising the lift above water grants you access to both the lift and Terminus' Pack-a-Punch machine. 3. Acquire Dead Wire Ammo Mod: Visit the Arsenal Machine (you can find one in the Bio Lab) and purchase the Dead Wire Ammo Mod for your weapon, which costs 500 Salvage. Hint: Since one of the upcoming bosses is particularly vulnerable to the Dead Wire Ammo Mod, it's wise to keep this weapon for the entirety of your game. 4. Power the 3 Circuit Breakers: Using the Dead Wire Ammo Mod, you need to energize three Circuit Breakers situated around the inclined lift area. The circuit breakers must be shot in a specific sequence. Note that Circuit Breakers #1 and #2 are only visible when the lift is in motion.

Circuit Breaker #1 is located inside the window facing north. Circuit Breaker #2 is positioned outside; it’s easier to hit it while the lift is descending since it gets obscured when the lift is ascending. Tip: It's also advisable to work on the Void Cannon Meteor Easter Egg at this stage to obtain free Ammo Mods, Equipment, and potentially a Wonder Weapon.

5. Power Circuit Breaker #4: Once you’ve shot Circuit Breaker #3, an electrical current will flow to Circuit Breaker #4 located in the Living Quarters, which is the same room as the second AMP Generator (also the room with the Jugger-Nog machine). Make sure to shoot this one too. 6. Power Circuit Breaker #5: Proceed westward to the Rec Yard. There, shoot Circuit Breaker #5 located on the wall of the Living Quarters to unlock the adjacent door on the left. 7. Acquire the EMF FOB: Inside the newly unlocked room, you'll find a zombie trapped beneath a machine. Take out the zombie to retrieve the EMF FOB.

8. Find X Coordinates: Next, make your way to the Docks beneath the Sea Tower. Locate the computer marked with the letter X and interact with it, regardless of whether a prompt appears. A symbol will display on the screen, but there’s no need to remember it as it will reappear later. 9. Find Y Coordinates: Head to the Storage Area, located north of the Rec Yard and south of the Interrogation Rooms (where the Quick Revive machine is situated). There, you’ll find a computer marked with the letter Y. Engage with the computer in the same manner as before.
